A: Dental implant placement occurs in two phases: the implant surgery and attaching the implant crown to the post. After the post is surgically placed in your jaw, the healing process typically takes two to nine months to allow the jawbone to fuse with the post. Once your mouth is ready, you will return to Beverly Hills Periodontal Arts and Implants to receive the custom-made implant crown to complete the procedure.
